Upfront Payment Policy

A non-refundable upfront payment of 25% of the total project fee is required before any work begins. No work will commence until the upfront payment is received in full. This policy is firm and non-negotiable. The upfront payment secures the freelance UI designer's time, availability, and commitment to the project.

1. Scope of Work

1.1. The client engages the freelance UI designer to provide UI design services for Roblox, including but not limited to user interface design, graphical assets, and visual enhancements.

1.2. The freelance UI designer will deliver the agreed-upon work according to the project specifications and timeline agreed upon by both parties.

2. Payment

2.1. The client agrees to pay the freelance UI designer the fee for services to begin.

2.2. Payment terms and methods shall be agreed upon in advance between the client and the freelance UI designer.

2.3. In the event of project cancellation or termination, the freelance UI designer may be entitled to compensation for the work completed up to that point, as mutually agreed upon.

2.4. All upfront payments made to the freelance UI designer are non-refundable, regardless of project progress or outcome. This payment secures the designer's availability and initial commitment to the project.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. The freelance UI designer retains ownership of the intellectual property rights to the original design concepts and assets created for the client.

3.2. Upon receiving full payment, the freelance UI designer grants the client a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the deliverables for their intended purpose on the Roblox platform.

4. Revisions and Modifications

4.1. The client shall have the opportunity to request reasonable revisions and modifications to the UI design deliverables within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe.

4.2. Additional revisions or modifications requested outside the agreed scope of work may be subject to additional fees.

5. Confidentiality

5.1. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the project.

5.2. The freelance UI designer may showcase the original or modified work in their portfolio or promotional materials, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing or electronic form.

6. Termination

6.1. Either party may terminate the project by providing written notice to the other party.

6.2. In the event of termination, the client agrees to compensate the freelance UI designer for the work completed up to that point, as mutually agreed upon.

6.3. In the event of termination, any upfront payment made by the client shall remain non-refundable and will not be credited toward any future work or deliverables unless the freelance UI designer hasn't finished the work at ALL.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The freelance UI designer shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred by the client as a result of the use or inability to use the UI design services or deliverables.

7.2. The total liability of the freelance UI designer shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project.

8. Resale Policy

8.1. Resale of the UI is permitted only with prior notification, especially in cases of intended resale within a technical community or for commercial purposes.

8.2. Resale of the UI without prior notification is not permitted. In the event of unauthorized resale, you agree to pay a penalty fee of 25% of sales made at that point or 50% more than paid originally as specified in our policy.
